It would be like taking the nostalgia of the original “sound” that we all love and transforming it in a way to where it could still more “real” but still retain the style of the first 2 games. The Timespinner soundtrack in my opinion does a really great job of this. They layer classic Midi Soundfonts with higher quality sounds. I have the soundfont on my PC, but I might just PM it to you in case linking it here in public is a rule violation. Just an idea that popped into my head yesterday. While trying to get ahold of SCC sounds from various things, I remembered I had La Mulana's SanbikiSCC soundfont laying around, so this makes use of that. Tried to stay as close to the SCC+PSG limits as I can. Still sounds off in some places, but it still sounds close enough for me.
